It is with a heart full of gratitude that I testify to my healing through Christian Science. I was taken very ill with what the doctors called shingles and suffered great pain in my right leg and was extremely nervous. I tried many remedies but nothing seemed to help me. I went to the hospital and had various kinds of treatments, but nothing seemed to give me relief so I returned to my home much discouraged. A friend suggested that I try Christian Science treatment, so I asked a Christian Science practitioner in my neighborhood to give me treatment. In a short time I began to feel better, the nervousness began to leave me and I could sleep as I had not done for months, and felt rested. All pain and nervousness soon left me and I knew I was healed. When I returned to my work I found my disposition much changed. Being manager of a large business I had been irritable from rush and worry. I found that my work did not bother me any more and I myself was becoming habitually kind and gentle and patient. I could hardly believe such a change possible. For this wonderful healing I am grateful to God and am grateful to Mrs. Eddy for the discovery and unfoldment of this beautiful truth. I am grateful to the practitioner who was so faithful and earnest in bringing about the healing.
