Christian Science was presented to me six years ago, at a time when, to human sense, I had to have relief or pass on. I took it up solely for physical healing and as a last resort. I not only have been healed of physical ailments, but have found God,—a God who is Love, and a religion that, when correctly applied, solves all problems of daily life. Stomach and bowel trouble, extreme nervousness, also a chronic disease, have all been healed by the application of Christian Science. I am grateful that such thoughts as self-pity, self-condemnation, self-depreciation, and sensitiveness have been overcome.

I am trying to prove my gratitude to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, by living the beautiful truth that she in her unselfishness and purity discovered and gave to the world in her book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." The Christian Science periodicals are a source of so much help and comfort.

My healing was not instantaneous, but I am grateful for the slow healing, for during that time I learned that God is the only Physician. Therefore, I would say to any one whose healing seems to be slow, Be not discouraged. For the physical healings I am grateful, but for the spiritual uplift and the healing of sin I am more grateful. I am grateful to the practitioners and kind friends who have so lovingly and patiently helped me along the right way.
