Love's Guidance

EMELIE J. BEERS

AT night the listening shepherds
Heard the tidings, glad and clear;
And at night the watching wise men
Saw the guiding star appear.

Though to sense the night is darkest,
Truth still speaks, Love leads the way;
If we follow, it will guide us
Out of darkness to God's day.
