With sincere joy and gratitude to God, as well as to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, I wish to testify to the many blessings which have come to us through the power of Truth. About two years ago my daughter was suddenly taken ill. High fever became manifest, accompanied by sharp pains in the side and back. I immediately declared the fact that God does not send sickness and that divine Mind creates only good, and held to these spiritual, true thoughts. During the same evening the fever lessened and she slept quietly during the night. On the following day my child was playing aroung, healthy and happy. I, too, have been a recipient of several blessings through Christian Science, for which I am heartily grateful. My husband has been simply showered with blessings, inasmuch as he was in the war of 1914-18 from beginning to end, and through God's goodness and care, together with the faithful work of a practitioner, was wonderfully protected from all the dangers. An unspeakable sense of gratitude fills us.
