Two years ago last February my little daughter, eight years of age, returned from school one day complaining that her feet and legs pained her, and that it was with difficulty that she walked. During the next two or three days she grew worse and lost completely the use of her legs. Two physicians, specialists in their line, were called, and, while they were unable to diagnose the case, they had great fear that she might never again be able to walk, picturing to us the possibility of her being compelled to go around on crutches. It was with considerable reluctance that her mother, who was not interested in Christian Science, consented to permit the case to be handled in Science. However, the physicians were dismissed and a Christian Science practitioner began treatment; and, although she did not see the child, the result was that in about four days the child was able to walk a little; in two weeks she was apparently healed, and in three weeks she returned to school as well as ever. She has had no return of the complaint and has enjoyed the best of health to date.
For this and other blessings that have come to me and to my daughter, I am very grateful.
