"Run the straight race"

The following verse from one of the many beautiful hymns in the Christian Science Hymnal (p. 251) has a wealth of meaning to Christian Scientists to-day:—

Run the straight race thro' God's good grace,
Lift up thine eyes, and seek His face;
Life with its way before us lies,
Christ is the path, and Christ the prize.
