What God Hath Done

A Child, troubled in the night by error, and tossing in confused fretfulness, was taken up by the mother and comforted with the assurance of Love's presence and that God would take away the ill and give him rest. After a time the boy passed into a state of seemingly troubled sleep. The next morning as the parents were studying the Lesson-Sermon the little fellow came running to them, saying, "Oh, I want to tell you what God did to me: He took away all my headache; it's all gone." The feverish lie had been supplanted by the truth of being, for the freedom of the child was evident. What a precious reminder to the older children of the loving care of the Father, "who healeth all thy diseases."

It is our privilege to attend the Wednesday evening meeting in this same joyous spirit of longing to tell what God hath done, remembering that each true witness has the support of Mind in infinite jurisdiction, bringing home to troubled hearts the actuality of our revered Leader's life purpose, as stated on page 207 of "Miscellaneous Writings": "To impress humanity with the genuine recognition of practical, operative Christian Science."
