It is about eight years since I received my first healing in Christian Science. At that time I was greatly in need of help physically, mentally, and spiritually. I was suffering from what several physicians had diagnosed as a serious nervous trouble and an incurable affection of the heart. My eldest son, also, had Christian Science treatment. He had always been a very frail child and had suffered all his life from an inactive condition of the bowels, a serious bronchial affection, and later, after a severe illness, he was never free from a most distressing cough, which finally developed into lung trouble. Both he and I were healed, and for the physical freedom we are very grateful; but we are still more grateful for the spiritual healing, and for the understanding it has given us of God's Word and the practical help it is in working out our daily problems. My son has returned home after eight months' service overseas, a very sturdy specimen of young manhood.

I am truly thankful to God and grateful to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, also to The Christian Science Publishing Society, for the unfolding of this wonderful healing and regenerating truth.
