Among the Churches

Coshocton, Ohio.—The new church edifice of the Christian Science Society will be ready for occupancy Sunday, August 3, which date has been set for the opening service. The property at the corner of Seventh and Walnut Streets was formerly used as a residence. It was purchased and the remodeling begun about April 1 of this year. The auditorium has a seating capacity of one hundred. The building represents an investment of about seven thousand dollars, and will be one of the beauty spots of Coshocton.

Orange, N. J.—First Church of Christ, Scientist, is placing contracts to the amount of approximately ninety-five hundred dollars for improvements to the church edifice on Cleveland Street. The space formely used as a reading room will be added to the auditorium by removing the separating wall. This space is to be furnished with pews and fixtures to harmonize with the present fittings and will provide two hundred and fifty additional seats, thus increasing the seating capacity of the auditorium to about eight hundred and fifty. Two additional rooms will be constructed in the basement and other improvements will be included. The reading room has just been moved to its new location at 361 Main Street, between Park and Canfield Streets.
