To say I am truly grateful for what Christian Science has done for me is but faintly to express my gratitude. Gallstones, influenza, pneumonia, and many other so-called dread diseases have been met and overcome. We have several pets and Christian Science is used altogether for helping them. Mrs. Eddy says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 550), "God is the Life, or intelligence, which forms and preserves the individuality and identity of animals as well as of men."

There are still many difficulties to be overcome, but I know that as self is thrust aside and my understanding of Truth unfolds, these too will disappear. I am thankful to God, and wish to express my deepest appreciation of the work of Mrs. Eddy and the help given me by friends, who have so patiently gone with me step by step in my understanding of the truth.
