For several years our little family has been studying...
For several years our little family has been studying Christian Science, drawn to it by physical ills which were healed. We have had many blessings from this study, but I am most grateful for the experiences of the past year. Early in 1918, due to the general upheaval, it became necessary for us to leave our home and move to another city. Much was being written at that time of the terribly congested conditions of the latter city, so to human sense it seemed very hard to leave home, and relatives, and friends, and go to a place where none of these awaited us. I am so grateful, however, that at the right time a comfortable little home was found, as well as kind friends, a loving practitioner, and even unexpected relatives. There were many demonstrations of God's care of us, and we were filled with gratitude, when word came that we might go back to the home and friends left just about a year before. The experiences during the year meant much to us, and I am glad that we learned the truer meaning of the term home,—that it is wherever we are abiding in the consciousness of ever present Love. I am grateful that we have so much of the current Christian Science literature, and my desire is to reflect each day more of the Love which has done so much for us.
