It is over three years since I turned to Christian Science for healing. For twenty-three years I had been an invalid and had suffered such miseries that words are inadequate to express the bitterness of it all. The best physicians in my reach were tried, and while they did everything in their power to relieve me, they failed to effect a cure. Hope of ever seeing another well day had been given up when a friend sent me "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy and asked me to read it. I became interested and now am testifying to the healing truth taught therein.

I was afflicted in many ways. The liver was said to be affected, and I suffered from bilious attacks and stomach trouble in its worst form, also from such nervous spells that I would have to call a physician to get relief. Two operations were submitted to, and at one time I lay for four weeks apparently at death's door. The years dragged on and I was trying to become reconciled to such a life when Christian Science came my way. I have been most wonderfully healed both physically and spiritually, and am truly grateful. I have not taken any medicine for over three years. I had the help of a practitioner for about four months; since then I have enjoyed reading and studying Christian Science literature and have gained much in spiritual understanding. There is real pleasure in life now, for it is joy to realize that God watches over His children and that His presence is ever with us.

I am grateful indeed for the many blessings that have come to me through Christian Science.
