After eight years of constant proof of the efficacy of Christian Science healing I think it right to give honor to whom honor is due, but hardly know where to start, for there is not one phase of existence that has not been touched by the healing power of Truth. Christian Science has healed us of all physical inharmonious as well as the fear of lack. The strength it gives to rise morally is inspiring, and the pure love it teaches fills my life with constant joy. It has changed my firm belief in predestination into what our Leader has called "a priceless sense of the dear Father's loving-kindness" (Science and Health, p. 366). The sweet assurance it gives that God is our Father-Mother has freed me from the resentful state of mind which followed the loss of my father, and has healed all bitterness of thought that I never had the loving care of a mother. Mrs. Eddy's beautiful words on page 254 in Science and Health, "Pilgrim on earth, thy home is heaven; stranger, thou art the guest of God," have healed me of homesickness and a feeling of awe at being a stranger all alone in this vast country. During the activities of war between this and my native country the article on page 8 in "Miscellaneous Writings" entitled "Love Your Enemies" helped me wonderfully to be free from any ill feeling. A wrong concept of work has been replaced with the happy realization that man as the image of God, Mind, reflects the activity of the infinite Mind, and as a result I love my work more and more.

My only desire is to comprehend more of this beautiful truth and to prove my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy by glorifying God daily.—(Miss) Elly Richter, Saginaw, Mich.
