It is with pleasure that I tell of my healing in Christian Science. For some years I suffered from gallstones, and on one occasion was in a hospital a year and eight months. In that time I had three operations, but the wound would not heal, and the doctors told my husband they did not know what to do for me. For nearly three years after that I was practically an invalid.

Almost two years ago a large swelling came under my arm, and I could not use the arm in any way. While I was suffering from this trouble, my sister-in-law told me of the many blessings she had received through Christian Science and sent me a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. I used to get very downhearted, but when I began to read that book and realize the truth I felt like a different woman. Words cannot express my joy as I began to see that "with God all things are possible." At the end of six months my arm was healed. The wound left from the operations also healed, and I am able to attend to my accustomed duties.

Christian Science has taught me to know God as I never did before, and it is only as we endeavor to practice what this religion teaches, that we begin to pay our debt to Him and to Mrs. Eddy, who has made so plain the life and teachings of Christ Jesus.
