It is with a heart full of gratitude to God that I testify to a number of blessings received in Christian Science. This teaching was brought to me three years ago. Since my childhood I had had no normal action of the bowels, in consequence of which I suffered from cramps in the stomach and all kinds of ailments. It seemed necessary for me to take regularly some remedy, but it was usually of no avail. After learning of Christian Science I asked for help from a practitioner, and in a short time this trouble was overcome.

About two years ago I had a beautiful demonstration of the power of Truth. Some months before the birth of a child I was, to mortal sense, suffering from a severe nervous condition. My husband being at the frontier, I became very despondent, and most of the time was unable to go out of my apartment. I again sought help in Christian Science and the discordant conditions were soon almost entirely overcome. I read much of the time and went to the Christian Science services as often as possible, which did me much good and cheered me greatly. The birth of the little one was accomplished under the most peaceful and harmonious conditions.

On two other occasions I have received blessings from Christian Science. My little girl had whooping cought, and I immediately asked for help from a Scientist, who then treated the child. In a few dayse the little girl was in perfect health. Last year the children had measles and were treated by the same lady, as my understanding was not yet sufficient to do the work alone. In three days more there was no trace of the ailment, and the children were playing out of doors.
