I feel it my duty, in gratitude for the many blessings...

I feel it my duty, in gratitude for the many blessings that have come into our home through the teachings of Christian Science, to give this testimony. A little over two years ago we turned to Christian Science. We knew very little of it, but a friend asked us to try it, as my father-inlaw was suffering from stomach trouble. His healing was quick and led us to try Science for our baby boy. We called a practitioner, and soon after treatments were begun a bowel trouble was overcome, and he was able to keep food down. From that time on he has been in perfect health. Our eldest boy stepped on a rusty nail and to human sense blood poisoning set in. Fear also crept into our hearts, but this verse came to my husband's thought: "Perfect love casteth out fear." He asked me to telephone to a practitioner, which I did, and the next morning the child could walk as well as ever.

For these healings we are indeed grateful, but greatest of all to me is the spiritual uplift that has come into our home. Before taking up the study of Christian Science my husband did not believe in God. His life has indeed been changed. There are many other demonstration of which I could speak, among them the painless birth of our last baby. We are striving to show forth the real man made in the image and likeness of God, but the best we can do is little compared to the blessings we have had and are receiving. We want to show our love for and gratitude to Mrs. Eddy and the many others who have borne so lovingly with us.
