I am very grateful for the blessings received in Christian Science. We have had many healings in our home. Colds, sunstroke, acute lung trouble, ptomaine poisoning, influenza, headaches, pain, financial troubles,—all have been overcome quickly through the application of the truth. About six years ago my husband suffered severely from spinal trouble. At first, although he had had proof of the healing power of Mind, he did not turn to God for healing, but tried materia medica. The doctor said he had a tubercular spine and it would be necessary to operate, but the operation, even if successful, would leave him with stiff shoulders and neck. This verdict was verified by two other doctors, but at the consultation they came to the conclusion that my husband's condition was so run down they could not operate until he was built up again, and they feared he might not live longer than two or three weeks. He then turned to Christian Science for help and from the first treatment commenced to improve. At the end of two weeks he was free from all pain and in six weeks was entirely healed. While he was under treatment heart disease was also overcome. I cannot begin to express in words my gratitude for this wonderful healing, which has made of him a strong and healthy man, well able to serve his country when needed.

When first starting in the study of Christian Science I received a great deal of help and encouragement from the testimonies published in the Sentinel and the Journal, as well as those given at the Wednesday evening meetings, and I hope this testimony will in turn benefit some one.
