About twenty-one years ago I was very sick in bed for two years after childbirth. We tried all the doctors we knew of, but they failed to help me. After undergoing an operation I was in a worse condition than before, and the doctor said I would not live more than a few days; but one morning a Christian Scientist came to see me, and after talking with her awhile I asked her to get the best practitioner she knew of to treat me. The practitioner came that same day and gave me a treatment, and before she left I sat up in bed and asked for something to eat, also for my dress, which I had not had on for two years. The next day was Easter, and after another treatment I got up and walked over the floor. My husband and I and the two children were a very happy family that day and thanked God for the wonderful healing. On the third day I walked out of doors all by myself. I did all my own work after that and never felt tired.

I cannot thank God enough for the wonderful healings we have had during these years. I am indeed very grateful for Christian Science.
