With gratitude I send this testimony of the help that has come to me through the power of Truth as unfolded through the daily study of the Bible together with "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and other Christian Science literature. I experienced many healings after the belief of mind in matter had been conquered. Severe heart trouble, creeping paralysis, headaches, and a cough that gave me no rest day or night have disappeared. The family physician had given me many warnings about my condition, but I have been entirely free from these ailments for several years. In Science and Health (p. 412), Mrs. Eddy writes: "The power of Christian Science and divine Love is omnipotent. It is indeed adequate to unclasp the hold and to destroy disease, sin, and death."

Christian Science has taught me to know that divine Mind is the only healer; and the understanding that God is All-power, ever present as infinite Love, removes fear and doubt from consciousness. In the summer of 1916, while visiting relatives, I fell downstairs and dislocated my shoulder. By declaring the truth and knowing that no harm could come to God's spiritual idea, in a short time I was free from any manifestation of pain or swelling. In less than three weeks there was no trace of the accident. I could not ask for better health or greater happiness than I have experienced since then. I have been strong and well in every way. For these and many other blessings I am thankful. My desire is that I may become more conscious of man's relation to God as His image and likeness. Words cannot express my thankfulness to God and my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for this truth that makes mankind free.
