New York, N. Y. (Fifth Church).—Dr. John M. Tutt, lecturer; introduced by F. T. Dodge, who said in part:—

Most of those persons who have become sufficiently interested in Christian Science to apply it constantly to the problems of human existence are frequently asked by seekers after the truth, Why did you take up Christian Science? or, Why has your religion such an apparent influence in your life? I think the answer is as simple as it is convincing. It is because the religion discovered and taught by Mrs. Eddy is essentially practical instead of theoretical, is constructive instead of visionary, is logical instread of theological in the commonly accepted sense of the latter word.
