In giving my testimony of healing I hope it may help others as others have helped me. Words fail me to express my gratitude for blessings that Truth has brought to me. It has been about twelve years since Christian Science was presented to me. I did not take up its study for physical healing, although I was in need of it; I came for the healing of sorrow. But I have been healed of stomach trouble of years' standing, which doctors told me I would never be free from. I have been healed of sick headache, colds, hives, ptomaine poisoning, neuralgia, and many minor ailments.

One healing I am most grateful for was that of hemorrhoids. I had been having them at intervals, and the last attack came the day before Thanksgiving, four years ago. I took my books and went to work; but the error did not seem to vanish as it should. Thanksgiving morning error tried to tell me I could not go to church, but I went. There was a sense of pain all the time I was going and all during the service and when I started home. When it left me, I do not know. The error was so completely obliterated from my consciousness that it never came to my mind again that I had ever had this trouble till over three years afterward when I heard a lady say she was having treatment for this same thing. Then it came to me that I at one time had suffered from the same trouble. I have also had some beautiful demonstrations over business problems.

On page 201 of Science and Health we read, "The best sermon ever preached is Truth practised." My prayer is that I may live this truth, that my light may shine and lead others to the right way. I am very grateful for the privilege of class instruction and for the blessed privilege of membership in The Mother Church and in one of its branch churches, and that the way has been provided so that we can through our own church help our brothers in need in France and Belgium.
