It is with heartfelt gratitude to our Father-Mother God, and to the noble woman who has given to this age a demonstrable understanding of His law, that I write this testimony. Before taking up the study of Christian Science, some twelve or thirteen years ago, I was as a ship without a rudder, having never found an explanation of life that seemed logical, or a religion that satisfied. I could get little comfort from the Bible, which seemed to me full of happenings contrary to law; and so I was filled with doubt, for I felt sure nothing contrary to law had ever taken place. When Christian Science unfolded to me the law of Spirit which puts to silence so-called material law, the Bible became to me, in the words of our Leader (Science and Health, p. 24), "the chart of life."

The study and application of Christian Science has done much for me mentally, morally, physically,and spiritually. It has healed me of bowel disorder in a very aggravated form, stomach trouble, rheumatism, and neuralgia, and has met every need which has presented itself. It is slowly but surely healing me of fear, worry, and a sense of human responsibility by giving me more faith in, and understanding of, God. My little daughter, now nearly ten years old, has never had a drop of medicine, and has been wonderfully protected by this beautiful truth.

That I may show my gratitude by more obedience and unselfed love is my greatest desire.
