I have gained so much from reading the Sentinel that I wish to express my thankfulness to God that this beautiful truth is for all time and all people, and my gratitude to His messenger, Mrs. Eddy, for her devotion to Principle, through which we are benefited. I am also grateful to our editors, who are so faithful as to the purity of what is written in our periodicals.

When Christian Science was first presented to me, through a near relative, I would not have it, although sadly in need of a physical healing such as hers had been; namely, that of weak eyes. Three years later, in April, 1915, when I could not read or use my eyes after dark without experiencing severe headaches, she again brought this teaching to my attention. This time a practitioner was asked for treatment, and an instantaneous healing followed, so that glasses which had been worn constantly were laid aside and never have been used since. Other healings followed as I began to use the understanding gained from the study of the Lesson-Sermons, from the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." I am also gaining more peace and love.
