I came into Christian Science for the love and truth and help it could give me, for I thought it a very beautiful religion. The study of Science and Health was begun in 1906, and I have taken no medicine for eight years or more. I was healed of a broken finger, and three years ago laid aside glasses which had been worn for about nine years. My husband was healed of a stomach trouble after one treatment given by my daughter, and afterward of jaundice by my declaration of the truth. He has never had a return of the trouble and is strong and healthy.

I have been relieved of tiredness and pain and sudden sickness by knowing that God is the only power. Not long ago I got a wire in my finger so tight I could not pull it out, and said to my husband and granddaughter that I thought I would have to go to a doctor and have it cut out; but after I had declared the truth about it the wire came out immediately and I felt no pain. I was very thankful for that help and that I was a Christian Scientist. I have been a member of the society here for over six years, and am a member of The Mother Church also. I am thankful to God that Mrs. Eddy was inspired to discover Christian Science, whereby comes to us this spiritual understanding of the Bible so that we can know and prove its truth.
