For nearly eleven years Christian Science has met my every need, and during that time I have had many proofs of the healing power of divine Love. I am especially grateful for the quick and complete healing by mental surgery, at two different times, of dislocation. The first was about eight years ago. I stumbled when going upstairs and put out my hand to save myself; the third finger came in sharp contact with the edge of the step, with the result that the second joint was knocked out of place. I covered it at once with the other hand, realizing the power of Truth to heal every condition, and was able to put the finger straight, but the pain for a short time was great. I had to go almost immediately to teach in the Sunday school, so the suggestion that I should not be able to wear a glove was put aside, and the pain was soon overcome. The finger was never wrapped up and I felt no inconvenience, but did all my work, using the hand as usual. The swelling soon went down, and in a few days I could bend the finger as usual.

The other time, I slipped and severely hurt my thigh, getting home with difficulty, for the pain was severe. I treated myself to destroy all belief in injury, and the pain was relieved a little, but I could not lift my foot from the ground when sitting. In the evening I wrote to a practitioner for help, and very soon after she received my letter the thigh joint moved with a jerk back into its place. I had no idea until then that it had been dislocated, and for some hours the leg was very much swollen; but very soon all pain went, and I was able to move easily in bed and had a good night. I got up without difficulty in the morning, and except for stiffness when going downstaris, for about two days, there was no more inconvenience.

I am very grateful for these proofs of Mind's power to adjust and govern all. I have often been helped by the realization that there is nothing to injure or to be injured, mentally or physically, since God, Love, is All-in-all.
