It is over eleven years since the healing truth came to me, at a time when I was very miserable both physically and mentally. Having no hope in medicine I turned to Christian Science for help, and through the ministry of a practitioner was soon in normal health again. This happened while I was still in the United States, just before my return to Sweden. I had not much knowledge of Christian Science when I left for home; all I knew was that I had been healed. I never forgot the wonderful help I had received, but did not dream of there being any Christian Scientists in Sweden, so always longed to go back to the United States to learn more about this teaching. About a year ago I prayed that God in some way would lead me to an understanding of the truth, and He answered my prayer, for soon He sent to my own home a Christian Scientist. How happy I was when my prayer was answered! Now I study the Lesson-Sermons faithfully and am very much helped by them. Best of all, I have come to love and understand the Bible, which had been a closed book to me. I know that I have found God, and my gratitude for Mrs. Eddy's teachings is unbounded.
