I came into Christian Science for physical healing
I came into Christian Science for physical healing. From the first treatment I began to improve, and before long was healed of a nervous breakdown and of a bowel trouble of many years' standing. After having studied Christian Science for about six months, a great shock came to me through the sudden passing on of my husband. At first it seemed as if I would succumb to the overwhelming sense of grief, but with the help of a practitioner and the understanding I had gained through the study of Christian Science, I was able to realize the allness of good and that in divine Mind there can be no separation. When this realization came to me I was healed, and since then my time has been spent in daily trying to get a better understanding of God and of man's relation to Him.
Christian Science helps me to work out the great problems of life, as well as the little every-day questions. Home duties, instead of being a daily round of cares, mean opportunities to prove how "all things work together for good to them that love God." When I compare my work as done in the light of Christian Science with the work I used to do under the rules of mortal mind, I feel that I can never be grateful enough for this truth.
We have had many experiences of healing in our family, and I have proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that when the truth is understandingly applied there is no ill that will not yield to Christian Science treatment. I am deeply grateful for the knowledge gained each day from the study of the Lesson-Sermons, also for the fresh inspiration that comes with each number of the periodicals, and I am more than grateful to the Leader who has made all this possible.
