From Our Exchanges

[The Christian Work]

Some of us are getting into the gospel of John, even so far as the fourteenth chapter and the four that follow. That was a dark day in the life of the apostles, and in the history of the church, when Jesus was crucified, yet the Master met it with these wonderful words: "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions." Does our heavenly Father rule? Is Jesus Christ the Saviour of the world? Is he the founder of a kingdom that is to fill the earth as the waters cover the sea, and has he gone to prepare a place for us? Do all things "work together for good to them that love God," and is Jesus alive from the dead and sitting at the right hand of power in heaven? Some of our younger men in the ministry and among the laity are seeing visions, and our old men are dreaming dreams.
