Christian Science was first presented to me eleven years ago. I had worn glasses for more than twelve years, but one morning while on the way to my office the bows broke, and before noon a violent headache set in as a result of using my eyes without glasses. It was then that I was persuaded to try Christian Science, and at noon a practitioner gave me treatment. To my surprise the headache vanished and my sight was greatly improved, so that I have never needed glasses since and have had no further trouble with my eyes.

By persistently studying our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, in connection with the Bible, and having the occasional help of a practitioner, I have been loosed from the bondage of profanity, stomach and bowel trouble, the liquor and tobacco habits, and undesirable traits of character; also have been greatly benefited in other ways, physically, mentally, morally, and financially. The physical manifestations of harmony are greatly valued, but they are as nothing when compared to the spiritual uplift and peace of mind that have come to me as a result of obedience to the teachings of our revered Leader. Words are inadequate to express my gratitude for the blessings received, and I am trying to make my daily life a testimonial to the efficacy of Christian Science to meet every need.—Charles W. I am glad to certify to the truth of the testimony by my son. Several oculists said it was only a question of time before he would be blind, as material means could help him only temporarily. It was through his healing that I was led to take up the study of Christian Science.
