Christian Science has brought me health a true viewpoint of life, and a love for the Scriptures. In January, 1904, I became sick while at work, and was assisted to my home. A physician quickly diagnosed the trouble as appendicitis, and stated that I should go at once to a hospital for an operation, but as I refused to do so, he said all he could do would be to lessen the pain. At this crisis I asked for help from a Christian Science practitioner, and in two weeks went to work entirely healed. For many years I had used tobacco, both chewing and smoking it, but am glad to say that freedom from this habit came at once. For five years I wore glasses, but six months after my healing they were laid aside and have never been worn since.

For all the physical healings I am indeed grateful, but more so for my mental and spiritual progress. My home is now a Christian Science one. Our ability to live healthy, happy, and pure lives is most certainly in proportion to our knowledge of the true God, who is omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent.—C. L. B. Anderson, Dayton, Ohio.
