I wish to express my gratitude for the many blessings that have come to us through the teachings of Christian Science. My two children have been completely healed of kidney trouble in an aggravated form. My husband has been healed of the liquor habit; also of chronic bowel disorder of twenty-five years' standing, after having doctored with several physicians, among them one of the most noted in Chicago. Many minor ailments have been quickly overcome.
I would also like to tell of help received while having dental work done. I was in the chair for about three hours, having one tooth extracted and the nerve taken out of another, but there was scarcely any pain. This to me seemed beautiful, as on previous occasions I had suffered very much. The dentist himself thought it was wonderful, and made the remark that he had noticed in his practice that Christian Scientists got through with a great deal less suffering than other people.
For five years Christian Science has been our only physician, but it would take too much space to tell of all the benefits we have received. Suffice it to say that we have proven God available in every emergency. We can never be grateful enough to Mrs. Eddy for making known to us God's "wonderful works to the children of men."
