I wish to express my gratitude for the many blessings experienced since becoming interested in Christian Science. In June, 1914, I met with a serious accident on the beach, so that I was unable to walk without help and could not turn over in bed; but after two treatments in Christian Science, I could walk as usual. This was very remarkable at my age, which was then a little over eighty-nine. The following February a severe attack of lumbago was overcome with two treatments. Later on an attack of paralysis, for which one absent treatment was given, yielded in less than two hours. One day I told some people about the accident at the beach and the next morning was unable to walk across the floor. After having two treatments and helping myself, however, I was all right, and there has been no return of the trouble.

I have been interested in Christian Science only a short time, but my gratitude goes out to Mrs. Eddy for having shown us the right way to worship God and love one another. My endeavor is to do everything that Christian Science teaches us to do, and to be patient, loving, and kind.

I have recently celebrated my ninety-first birthday, and am now well and happy and able to help my daughter in her household work. For all these blessings I am thankful to God. — Pauline Duriee, San Francisco, Cal.
