Current Notes

Long Beach. Cal.—The distribution work at this place has shown remarkable growth the past year. During the months of January, February, and March, 1916, the following literature was given out: 3439 Sentinels, 347 Journals, 10,334 Monitors, 66 Herolds. There have also been distributed 2418 local papers containing lectures on Christian Science. Until the middle of March a committee supplied all boats docking at San Pedro with the literature, but since that time there has been cooperation with other committees in this work. There are a number of free subscriptions for the fire stations, apartment-houses, hotels, the jail, and the rest-room at the high school.—Correspondence.
