Syracuse, N. Y.—During the New York state fair held in Syracuse Sept. 13-18, 1915, First Church of Christ, Scientist maintained a booth for the distribution of Christian Science literature. It is estimated that over a thousand people entered it. The Syracuse Post-Standard said: "Free ice-water has helped to make the Christian Science booth in the Liberal Arts Building at the fair grounds an attractive spot. Although in the thick of the noise and the clamor of scores of barkers, the Christian Science booth is the most restful place in the exposition city. During the week nearly three hundred gallons of ice-water has been given away."
