This testimony is given with a grateful heart

This testimony is given with a grateful heart. In the latter part of March, 1915, I was suddenly taken ill. Being in the public service, I had to be examined by the confidential physician, who found a serious case of jaundice, swelling of the liver, and gall-stones. I did not, however, take the medicine prescribed, but applied for help to a Christian Science practitioner. My healing was slow, for there was many a fault which the practitioner lovingly and patiently pointed out and which had to be eradicated. I willingly submitted to this task, and today am enjoying excellent health. For this I am most deeply thankful to God, and grateful indeed to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
