Among the Churches

Current Notes

Ossining, N. Y.—The first testimony meeting at Sing Sing Prison was held on Thursday evening, Nov. 18, in one of the prison class-rooms. More men desired to attend the meeting than could be accommodated in the room, and future meetings will be held in the chapel. The regular order prescribed in the Manual for Wednesday evening meetings was followed, and a number of splendid testimonies were given by prison inmates, in advance of testimonies by the visitors. Copies of The Christian Science Monitor of even date were given to all who attended the service.—Correspondence.
