It is seven years since I took up the study of Christian Science. I lived in hotels for the first twenty years of my life, then for the next ten was out in the world, tossed to and fro, seeking for something to satisfy my longings. Finally I was led to Christian Science, and there not only found what I was reaching out for, but was healed of nervousness, which affected me mentally. Not having much education, I was ignorant of everything that was good, until I gained a slight understanding of Truth and found that nothing is too good for God's idea, and that it only remained for me to practise and prove this, as I have to a certain extent. What means so much to me is the education I am acquiring through the study of Christian Science. Before I became interested in this religion I never read at all, but now I can honestly say that the Christian Science periodicals are my friends. I am deeply grateful to Mrs. Eddy for Science and Health and her other writings, for through them I am learning to understand the Bible in its spiritual meaning.
