I was healed by Christian Science after being sick all my life. In November, 1912, one very serious complication, for which I had submitted to an operation several years before, seemed to be manifesting itself again, and to such an extent that I felt obliged to have help. The doctor's verdict was, that if the medicine did not relieve me soon, I would have to be operated on again. At the end of a week I was no better, so I turned to Christian Science, and was practically healed at the first treatment. I was also able to lay off glasses that had been worn for several years, without any special Science work being done to meet this need, but simply as a result of the law of harmony. I had in all six treatments, but after the first one I went more for a better understanding of this great truth than for physical help. I have enjoyed perfect health since my healing and do all my own housework. I am thankful to God, also grateful to Mrs. Eddy, for the blessings I have received.
