I want to express my thanks to God, and my gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for the spiritual and physical healing which came to our home through the understanding of Truth demonstrated through Christian Science. The complete healing of my wife of rheumatism, five years ago, thoroughly convinced me of the efficacy of divine Love, and a short time afterward I was entirely healed of the tobacco habit, which had been contracted in boyhood. Repeatedly I had tried to stop using the weed through will-power, but had as often failed, and not until I asked God to help me was I absolutely relieved of any desire for it whatever.

Words are inadequate to express my heartfelt thanks for this great truth which has enabled humanity to overcome the many trials and vicissitudes incident to human life. Greatest of all blessings, however, is the spiritual understanding revealed to us by "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and other works by Mrs. Eddy.
