While on my way here from Massachusetts, I was taken...

While on my way here from Massachusetts, I was taken with a burning, creeping, and somewhat painful sensation in my left limb, from the knee to the hip. This did not yield very readily to the truth. For a few days it grew worse, and that part of my limb became numb, without any feeling except at times that peculiar sensation. This condition continued for two weeks or more, but I did not make it known to any one, and with the help I received through the reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, it was healed by divine Love.

Some time ago, I was taken with what seemed to be a severe attack of stomach trouble. I became suddenly dizzy, so I at once sat down in a chair and tried to declare the truth. This brought relief, but only for a short time, for I had a return of the dizziness, and although striving to hold to God's allness, I fell to the floor and remained in an unconscious condition for an hour or more. When I regained consciousness, the room was filled with people and a doctor was standing beside me. He wanted to treat me, but I would not let him. Instead I rose to my feet, and declared that divine Love meets all human need. Surely divine Love did meet my human need at this time, for soon I was entirely well. While I was unconscious, all in the room but one declared there was no hope, as they could detect no evidence of life; but this one declared that there was hope, and I would soon be all right.

I am thankful for this demonstration of the truth, but more so for the better understanding I have gained of God and His creation and for the spiritual uplift that has been realized through the study of Science and Health. The little understanding I have of this truth has brought me perfect health.—Fred N. Clark, Long Beach, Cal.
