I write this testimony with deep gratitude to Christian Science for its effects upon my understanding. Through the study of Science and Health I have been made to know that God is Love, Truth, and Life. It has led me out of gloom into light. I was instantly healed of mumps, and went about as usual, so that no one noticed the symptoms, while a friend of mine not in Christian Science was away from her work for over three weeks, and seemingly suffered a great deal. Colds have been destroyed in one treatment. One evening, a domestic animal showed symptoms of poisoning, but with Christian Science treatment it was all right in fifteen minutes. For these proofs of God's care of all His creatures, but more abundantly for the joy and spiritual uplift that I have experienced, I am sincerely thankful to God, and grateful to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
