I feel like telling the whole world of the wonderful healing experienced through Christian Science. For twenty years I suffered with liver complaint, and during the last years this trouble grew so serious that several physicians told me I must submit to an operation. This I did, as the suffering had become intense. Two months later I left the hospital and went home, hoping to be restored, but a month had scarcely elapsed when the pain set in as before. The physician advised me to have another operation performed, but I refused, although I suffered severely and felt so weak that it was almost impossible for me to get up.

While in this distressing conditions I heard of Christian Science, and so applied to a practitioner in Geneva for treatment, which was taken up. After the very first treatment I experienced a wonderful sense of well-being, and after the third I felt that I was healed. For this healing I am indeed thankful, but still more so for the better apprehension of divine Love and the growing understanding of the Bible. There has also been a much greater sense of peace and love in our family since I have learned to apply the truth, and divine Love has healed me of irritability. I am very grateful for our Christian Science literature.
