Canton, Ohio.—The corner-stone of the new Christian Science church edifice was laid Sunday morning [April 11] at five o'clock. The church is being built on Cleveland avenue, NW, and will cost when completed about thirty-five thousand dollars. The lot upon which the building is being erected has a frontage of 76 feet and is 220 feet in depth. The Sunday school room will be located on the ground floor and will accommodate about four hundred pupils. It is thought that this room will be ready for occupancy about the middle of July, and the congregation plans to hold regular services in it, as soon as it is ready, until the main auditorium is completed. The church, it is expected, will be finished in September.—Canton Repository.
