I am very grateful for the many blessings Christian Science has brought into my life. For many years I suffered from stomach disorder and heart trouble. The doctor said I also had an abnormal growth and should be operated on, but I feared to have this done. In 1904 Christian Science was brought to our notice, and we borrowed a copy of Science and Health, which we read and reread. Then we purchased one for ourselves. We also attended the church services, although there was a long flight of stairs to climb. My husband had almost to carry me up, and even with his assistance I would have to stop to rest two or three times. In 1908 I had a severe attack of stomach disorder, different from any I had experienced before. After six weeks or more, during which I tried to help myself without success, I asked for help from a faithful Christian Scientist, and it was lovingly given. With a few treatments I was entirely cured.

In 1909 I was healed of severe heart trouble in three or four treatments. The abnormal growth has vanished into its native nothingness. A few years ago I was greatly troubled with black spots before my eyes when I read or sewed. I asked for help from the same practitioner that had treated me before, and now these spots are a thing of the past. While I was taking treatment for the eyes, a sore on one of my hands disappeared, after being there at least five months, and I had not mentioned it to the practitioner. I am now well and strong. I am thankful to God for His loving care, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for giving this living truth to the world.—Laura B. Harris, San Jose, Cal.
