For the healing that came to me four years ago, when I was freed from a very stubborn skin disease by Christian Science, I am most thankful. A hopeless case for medical specialists, it finally yielded to the power of Truth after a year of daily treatment.

I would also like to add my word of gratitude for the good the Monitor is doing throughout the world. It is a great pleasure to be able to hand on one's paper to persons of various nationalities, confident that therein each individual will find interesting news regarding his own particular homeland. Sailors who have journeyed around the world are glad indeed to read an open-minded presentation of the entire world's news. In our home we regard it as a daily magazine, with its excellent accounts of recent literature, the stage, art, and household helps and used together with an atals it broadens one's geographical horizon.

For the spiritual uplift of Christian Science, I am grateful above all else.
