I wish to express publicly my deep thankfulness to God for the many blessings I have received through Christian Science. Some years ago I had serious heart trouble, and the doctor who attended me said I would never be free from it. I constantly took stimulants to keep my heart in action, and it was only with great difficulty that I attended to business. At that time I lived in Omaha, Neb. I wrote to my brother, who was located in the western part of that state, telling him I was afraid I would have to give up my position and asking if he knew of any outdoor employment I could get in his locality. He replied that he thought he could find something to suit me if I decided to make a change, but said he did not believe it would be necessary for me to do so, and urged me to give Christian Science a trial first. As I knew nothing about this teaching, I scoffed at the idea, but after thinking the matter over for several days decided to give it a test.

After my first treatment I discarded all medicine. In a week I felt wonderfully improved, and I gained rapidly in health thereafter. That was over ten years ago, and I have had no trace of the trouble since. The physical healing is but small in comparison with the spiritual peace that has come to me through the slight understanding I have of Christian Science. I am truly thankful to God for this great blessing, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer of this healing truth.—Herbert M. Hunt, Odenton, Md.
