A few years ago I had a very beautiful proof of the power of Truth to heal almost instantaneously. I was taken suddenly ill with what is called appendicitis, and a Christian Science practitioner was at once sent for. The pain was relieved almost instantly, and I was healed in a short time. I have also been cured of severe stomach disorder and granulated eyelids through the understanding of Christian Science. After becoming interested in this teaching, I soon learned that it is our ignorance of God which causes disease, sin, and death, and that in proportion as we understand the allness of God, good, these false beliefs are destroyed. I am truly grateful for this spiritual awakening and for the blessings I have received.—Nellie E. Mason, St. Joseph, Mo.

I wish to verify the statements made by my sister. The healing of appendicitis was a wonderful demonstration. I also desire to express my gratitude for what I have received through Christian Science. This truth has brought to me an understanding of what God is, and a purification of thought through which I have been healed of many physical ills. I know that Christian Science is the same truth taught by Jesus nineteen hundred years ago, and will eventually be so recognized by all.—Frank H. Mason.
