I have been healed through Christian Science of a bowel difficulty which medicine did not relieve, also of a skin trouble and many minor ills. About six years ago my foot turned as I was going down-stairs, and I was thrown down several steps with my feet turned backward under my body, causing severe pain. I got up feeling very much jarred and shaken up, and went on down-stairs. The lady with whom I was living was a Scientist, and she declared the truth for me, so that in an hour the pain was destroyed and I could walk freely again. This seemed to me a wonderfully quick demon stration, as I had not been in Science very long. On another occasion, as I was getting off the street-car the skirt of my dress caught on a piece of iron, throwing me to the ground. The motor-man and conductor helped me up, and with some assistance I reached home, where Christian Science treatment was given me. In less than two hours the sense of shock and pain was entirely destroyed. There were two flesh wounds and several bruises, but these healed in less than a week.

I am very thankful to God for these experiences, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy. I am also thankful for our literature.
