I can no longer refrain from giving at least one testimony of what Christian Science is, to prove that God is ever present, and that the help is given even before we ask it. Not long ago I accidentally knocked a bottle off a washstand. Without thinking what was in it, I picked it up, and as the cork had fallen out the contents were spilled all over my hands, and I put one hand up to my face. Not until then did I realize that what is called a caustic poison was in the bottle. Almost unconsciously the realization of the power of Truth flashed through my mind, and I was not only saved from the least bit of pain, but my face and hands did not even get red. This is only one of many demonstrations we have made in our family since taking up the study of Christian Science, for which we are more grateful than words can express.
