It is with pleasure and gratitude that I acknowledge the help of Christian Science in the healing of my four-year-old girl, in two or three treatments, of a fully developed case of mumps. The third day the child showed no symptoms of the disease. Several minor ills were overcome almost immediately through the help of a practitioner. I had a badly bruised knee, caused from falling on a pavement, and friends predicted I would not be able to walk for several days. I was treated one night, however, and the next morning I was able to walk down-stairs to breakfast without any discomfort. My husband had several acute attacks of rheumatism, but with a few treatments from a practitioner he was able to resume his work.—Mrs. Bert Chandler, Fort Worth, Texas.
